When he’s not fixing helicopters, Sandy is normally on the banks of his home rivers in Scotland’s Aberdeenshire catching ridiculously large native wild brown trout. In between times he’ll be making rods.
He uses his engineering skills, fishing experiences and creative skill to make exceptional fly rods both in form and in function. Very practical, beautiful things, meticulously crafted.
