IMAGO IPT Fly Rods
As you would expect from IMAGO, their new IPT ("IMAGO Performance Tool") rods have been carefully designed with the emphasis on performance, durability and quality.
These rods have a distinctive, utilitarian style with a low flash, matt, natural carbon finish and black whippings on single leg REC recoil guides.The minimalist feel is reinforced by the lack of any markings on the rod blanks, with rod details written on the reel seat and the IMAGO name inscribed in the stabilised wooded reel seat barrel.
IMAGO are using the CCS system to describe and precisely define each rods action and casting characteristics. This enables those of you who are familiar with this system to make a truly informed decision when choosing which rod to buy. Each rods CCS details are incorporated in the rod details on the reel seats and also on the rod tube caps.

There are currently three ranges of single handed rods Fast, Medium and Slow in a range of lengths and line weights, with more to follow.
IMAGO went to the US to design their rods and all rods are manufactured and assembled there using highest quality fittings:
REC Components reel seat and Recoil Titanium guides and rings throughout.
Extra select flor grade Portuguese cork handles.
Matt black aluminium rod tubes and high quality rod bags.
Rods are guaranteed against manufacturing and material faults and have a "self cost" repair service for accidental damage, which is transferable with rod ownership.
