Rod Dibble has been making his leaders for a number of years now & has been commissioned to make leaders for some of the leading lights of the UK's river trout fishing community. His leaders are recognised by those who know about these things, as being the best available.
Rod says: "I would draw to your attention to the current popularity of a leader that Stuart Crofts is very keen on. It is made with Benecchi 12/0 olive thread and, while it can come in any length,Stuart likes his to be 3.5ft. with Shorb Loops. To this he adds 3.5ft. of tippet and uses this set up for close/ small stream dry fly work."
Dibble's Furled Leaders are individually handmade combining traditional construction methods with modern innovative materials to create the finest leader of its type.
Made from lightly waxed thread, they come in three weights to suit fly lines from 2 to10 wt.
